Fantastic Contraption

One of my commune members recently did me all kinds of wrong the other day and sent me to Fantastic Contraption.

For the very few of you who are still reading this post and haven’t been sucked into the addictive properties of that site, you should probably go ahead and visit it. I’m sure you’ll get more laughs from it than from my blog.

I immediately cracked out and ran through the levels. It’s like an interactive Flash erector set. Grace even gave up styling her Webkinz and beat several of the levels. Christina gave up playing whatever that tile game is on Webkinz (she justifies it as “earning Grace KinzCash”). We are a family hooked.

My first thought when I saw it was that Nilsson made it.

So go ahead, kiss productivity good-bye, rationalize it as a learning game (that’s the one I use), and start building your own fantastic contraption. Here’s one of the more fun ones I worked up.
